Under a leaden sky, the grasses shimmer in the silvery light. Even on a cool, cloudy day, the abundant new growth of spring inspires painting with abandon. Sketching and scribbling, my paper is soon covered with a textured tapestry of velvety pastel. The green that seems to go on forever will soon fade into summer gold but painting slows time so I am able to enjoy the fleeting color a moment longer.

Spring is bursting forth everywhere, and thanks to the efforts of my publicist it seems I have been appearing everywhere as well.
